Yesterday afternoon a man at Harlem’s 125th street Subway station died while pooping between cars. This has been a rough few months for the MTA as an unusual increase in deaths on subways has amounted. The Transport Workers Union Local 100 has undertaken a campaign to get motormen to slow down when entering stations. Read the full story HERE.
My girlfriend forwarded me this story early this morning and I immediately thought … this could have been me. No I don’t poop between subway cars, but I do always switch between them while the train is moving. This guy must have had to plant a brown carrot pretty badly if he decided to do it between moving subway cars. Wasn’t he embarrassed that everyone was watching him poop? He might as well yelled, “Camp Asshole is Calling, General Shit’s on the way!”.
I appreciate the Transport Workers Union Local 100 has undertaken a campaign to get motormen to slow down but what they should really do is start a campaign to get bathrooms installed in subway stations. That way people don’t have to drop a dagger between subway cars. How many times does this have to happen before action is taken?
