We have been riding this listicle approach to our editorial of late, as some user emails suggest folks are feeling it. To kick off your week, we compiled a brief batch of beats from a few of our favorite rising producers.
Click above ↑ and get a glimpse of the psychedelic hero known as tessellated. The young Caribbean homie (via Kingston, Jamaica) has one of the crispiest, rarest and most lit sounds we’ve heard in months. A few weeks ago it was “young jazz killa“, a jazz infused trap banger and still (to this day) our unanimous, office-wide, turn-the-F-up theme song. Today it’s “basement in town”, a jazzy soca trap remix of Lil Rick & Machel Montano’s “Go Dung” that has us day-dreaming about fire-spitting in the heart of a drum circle.
Holy flame we stumbled upon this new heat from Boyoom Connective // Beatfreaks affiliated producer UNDA, and it’s hitting at our core right now. That deep, funky bass line paired with that boss vocal sample and occasional oscillating synth, melt together for a top-down, hit-the-strip in the white impala vibe.
LA via Sacramento beat maker Steeziak is back from a short hiatus with a wavy new number that will have you holding your neck by that :45 mark. Showcasing buttery drum work, synths that soar and an optimistic title, this one is both head-jerking and encouraging. We couldn’t agree more, “Life’s Too Short To Be Bummed”.
Chicago based beat maker KAVERN is super close to reaching 1k followers on SoundCloud. In lieu of the milestone, the Windy City synth price uploaded the full version of “Vertigo” to his page. The towering trap production is brimming with bass, future sounds and tribal elements reminiscent of TroyBoi.
We have been riding this ⚒ Workers ⚒ Wave for a few months now, peeping every new piece of content from the French duo (made up of Be Dar & Sean Cabe). Their newest track, “Nowhere in France”, is a heavy-hitting yet uplifting beat laced in future flavor and capable of bringing energy to nearly any setting.
